Fingers crossed that they all fledge this year.

May 11th, 2009 -- Posted in News | No Comments »After months of waiting I can confirm that this morning of the 7 eggs we currently have 4 chicks! Still hopeful that the remaining 3 will hatch shortly!
7 Eggs and Feeding!
May 4th, 2009 -- Posted in News | No Comments »Mr Blue Tit brings Mrs Blue Tit her early morning breakfast. Unfortunately it’s slightly too large to manage in the nest so she pops outside to eat it.
Looks like 7 eggs is our total for 2009 as it’s remained at 7 for a about a week now

4 Eggs and Counting!
April 25th, 2009 -- Posted in News | No Comments »As of this morning we have 4 eggs that we can see. There may be other eggs in the nest but Mrs Tit does a good job of covering them over!
Nest construction is now complete!

Nest Building Is Progressing!
March 30th, 2009 -- Posted in News | No Comments »After the slow start that we saw last year things seem to have picked up in the nest building stakes! The blue tits seem to work as a team with one passing the nesting material to the other. The wing flapping action compresses the nesting down so that once the nest is complete it will be nice and tightly packed thus providing insulation and a soft cushion.
